The yearling called Half Moon pauses eating for a brief afternoon nap.

The youngster is part of the group whose matriarch is Pasenadia. Horse groups are run by the very dominate white female.

She used to have 14 horses in her little but now she has only 6 horses. Disease? Predation? Yeah -in a way you could call it that

....but the Dark Service { so named for secrecy well beyond their mission } have a "Livestock Plan" to reduce the herd's presence to 10-30 animals.

Question from the floor of the "public hearing" on the plan - Gentlemen "how did you arrive at the number 10-30 horses?"

Response from the District Wildlife Biologist " It seemed like a good number."

Hapless! unstudied and a destruction of our "Heritage Horses!"
