Keena is a five year old German Shepherd with a skill for stalking and spotting game.

A human observer will never hear the deer walking through the palmettos, a feral hog in the brush, or a black bear at the hummingbird feeder! ...but she does!

I have a number of photos that were possible because she "watched" the game moving before they were visible.

You could tell when they would emerge by watching the dog, with the great radar ears, focused on the game and pointed towards the animal hidden in the brush.

She's proved to be a great "Backup" too!
