over 240 manatees in Blue Springs
There were 124 Manatees in the Blue Spring State Park went we visited there last week.
The manatees return to the spring from as far as Boston Harbour to survive in the 72 degree year round temperature of the springs.
Temperatures below 62 degree will cause death in these warm blooded creatures.
Blue Springs is very popular at this time of year. Go on a weekday if you can to avoid the crowd on the weekend.
Photo ops are particularly good on wind

days. Bring a polarizer and sleep in! The lighting is best after 10 AM
