This invader has been here for quite a while - The Armadillo is the original "Dig We Must Crew"

The catz and dog went wild one Summer Night. The "digger" was working on a burrow under the lanai { porch }deck. He was digging away under the shrubbery and in an inaccessible place.

So... I took a plastic pipe about 2" ( 5 cm) in diameter and placed it through the bushes and into the hole.

Five moth balls (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mothball ) were sent down the pipe by elevating it!

The strong smell ran him off ...for now!!

The armadillo has been identified as the carrier of leprosy in geographic areas where the disease exists.
