_MG_0017 Flying Fox Squirrel

Fox Squirrel, specifically "Sherman's Fox Squirrel" A funky looking squirrel - until it does it's fifty yards dash!

The tail looks longer that the body and twitches to distract an attacker to the wrong end for protection.

The fox squirrel's manner of walking, coloration that blends into the road material, and limited road crossing skills is damaging to their longevity prospects. Road kill accounts for the loss of many fox squirrels.

Look a bit like Super Squirrel flying "above the tall buildings?"
