Saint Marks Wildlife Refuge is located at the bend in Big Bend County which is where the panhandle joins Florida.

I went to St. Marks in the Early Summer and found the infamous "no-see -ums." Death by unseen needle bearing insects!!

Contrast that to last week with the cold windy weather ! No bugs- just birds !

Didn't find the razorbill auks but not for the looking through 10,000 coots!

The Sunset is not over when the Sun goes down. The next twenty minutes will complete the spectacle!

St. Marks is required - if you come to Florida!! DEALS Oysters in town are cheap and goooood!
