The bear alarm quit. The store didn't have a replacement and the bear is not afraid of a quiet backyard. Trashed the hummingbird feeder - again!

He walks into the back yard - the two eyes at the door is a cat. Fearless but dumb - Maine Coon Cat!

The bear walks up to the door and doesn't "trigger" the dog to respond but the cat stands in the door.

They have some kind of discussion and the bear walks away leaving the cat in the door to watch his departure.

Cats Rule ... at least for tonight!

I put a motion detecting night light out there for a distraction. I need to find an alarm solution - tomorrow!
