The white mare is the matriarch in this group and runs the herd.

The stallion brings up the rear and does a fine job of being a stallion!

The three pregnant mares and one yearling shows that the Wild Spanish Horses are thriving and reproducing.

The yearling is the third horse from the left and shows: size weight and finish of a healthy young horse.

Dom and I were there in 2008 when the stallion by the Cones Dike Trail ran off this then young stallion. He lived a solitary life near the East side of SE441 before moving into this group!
