_MG_9431 The Magnificent Frigatebird

My first real sailing adventure was from Martinigue to Grenada in the 70's. My first major vacation in six years so ... why not!

I knew a couple my age with "old money" that traveled quite a bit and had a "big boat" in Marblehead. They convinced "us" to let them setup a charter over a "few weeks in the carribean."

Looooong story short... Trip of the lifetime!

Distance from stress is a valuable commodity! Sit on the boat and a have a beer(s) - watch the frigates!!

The frigatebirds would fly like gravity was revoked! Rotate, in place 270 degrees, and grab a fish from the boats like they were hanging from a tether in the air, watching frigates is like seeing eagle aerials!

There are no problems man!!

See them in Cedar Key at this time of year
